cozy scarves from sophia costas

holy moly, it's been too long, friends! the summer and early fall just got away from us here at the shop. we've been busy getting ready for fall and (dare we mention it?) the holidays. it's cooling off in virginia, and that means it's scarf weather! we're loving these new fuzzy animal scarves from sophia costas. all of her scarves are handmade in nepal in a fair trade work environment - woohoo!

new patch nyc scarves!

patch nyc scarves are 100% cotton & linen with silk trim.
they are made in limited quantities from a unique combination of fabrics
and are perhaps my favorite scarves that we represent at o'suz.
i find that the more you wear them, the better they look
and the more you love them, the better they feel.
i am partial to the wider ones as they can easily be worn as a shawl,
a pareo, or as a scarf, wrapped twice for colder weather.
the skinny ones are awesome too though,
for this time of year especially and through the winter into spring.
the hardest thing about patch scarves
 is choosing!

katie mawson makes us happy

katie mawson-just in at o'suz!!!
if nothing else, come and sniff the woolen cleaner she uses. it's heavenly.
we are trying to research it's whereabouts and
have decided it is a british thing not surprisingly!
...we have her fingerless gloves in maybe 15 styles/colors.
we also have a few of her scarves and hats which are amazing.

(bought this little cozy number
for myself!)
